Joined IndianOil in 1986 as trainee and superannuated in 2024 at the level of CIO.  He was CISO of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited  for a prolonged period. As CISO for the IOCL took initiative to set up 24×7 Corporate SOC first for an Indian PSUs. Have vast experience of all the aspect of Cyber Security like IT Policy, Compliance, Risk Management,  Performance Analysis etc. During his initial days, other major activities was to implement ERP at IOCL as core team member.  Also lead team to implement corporate wide  IT infrastructure, Mailing System, DMS etc. In nutshell, seen the industry to grow from card punching era to AI based platforms. On superannuation he had small tenure to work as advisor in some organizations. At present having his own consultancy firm working on Cyber security and its AI based solutions.
